A seranade…. what more can a woman want….

My jungle camp group

Whoops… oh well it’s nature!

Don’t you just love playing Jane???

And this is just one of the reasons it is sooooo handy to have a photographer around

Screwing up my music lessons

Happily floating downriver

Getting the hang of toc!

Climbing the coconut tree – or at least trying to

Win & Anas

Lunch coming up

Dinner with Medon’s family

Helping out in the kitchen

My dear friend Telan

Medon & me

Working the rice

Burial site

The scenery along the way

Hopping on the next boat

The “homemade” canal expressboats

Dropping off and picking up passengers along the way

Chilling out on the boat ride

What else is there in life but Chilling & Eating???

Treacherous Trashcan (and yes this one is poissonous)

My new travelmates (Ian – left & Bertrand on the right sitting in the boat)

Big guy coming in for breakfast

Sunset over the river in Kuching

Yes! Back in jeans!

Whoops, maybe I should lay off the ice cream??

Yes, I missed (I know what you guys are thinking)

See how big our friendly(?) visitors were…

Orang Asli guy teaching us how to make fire (not very convincing when you have to try 6 times)

Orang Asli woman & children going about their daily stuff

Our hide

Mat making us dinner

Our campsite at the cave (without protection from bugs or rats… hmm I love camping)

On my way to become Jane

The tranquillity of the beautiful green hills…

…. and mysterious forests

Wait, where was I? Malaysia or Germany… in town I’m not so sure

Ah, this reminds me more of Asia (local Orang Asli – original Malays – village)

The lush green hills of Cameron Highlands, covered with the so cherished tea

The colonial feel of Penang

Like you just went back in time for a 100 years

My own little chalet at the private island of Jerejak

Fraaie foto’s, nu ook gezien dat je dus een ontsteking had aan je oog, ik hoop dat alles weer goed gaat.
